Superior queen room I stayed at was newly remodelled and well furnished with a view. There were coffee and tea making facilities, and refrigerators too. I appreciated location which was unbeatable and excellent, just off the San Blas square, amazing restaurants and restaurants, cafes, shops, in a nice quieter area.

Illa Hotel stands out as my favorite place during my trip to Peru. Located in the artsy San Blas district, this charming hotel offers a lovely atmosphere with a small garden square. The breakfast spread was very nice, with made-to-order eggs, fresh yogurt with various toppings, and crunchy French-style bread. This hotel is a bit of a hike from Plaza de Armas due to its hilltop location, but the views are worth it. I stayed in three different rooms, and all were clean, cozy, and well-decorated. The hot water could be inconsistent, especially after 6 pm, a little disappointing after a long day. The staff were great, helping me store my luggage during my trekking trip and even preparing a delicious lunch box. They were great. The only drawback was the lack of a fridge in the room, which would have been convenient. I look forward to staying here again and exploring more of what Cusco has to offer.

Loved newly remodelled room with a view, wouldn't mind staying there all day. Location: the hotel was just next door to many good cafes, and the historic centre of town.

The hot water is only warm!!! The climb back to the hotel from the main areas is exhausting for those not used to altitude!!! Don't forget your two-prong plug adapters!!!

Location near the San Blas square and many attractions and restaurants and Cusco's top restaurants. Reasonably spacious and luxurious rooms with hypo-allergenic pillows.

Clean room with a powerful shower. Wi-fi was unreliable .

missingWrote a review on 25 Octinconsistent amenities
The common areas lacked inviting comfort. Noise travel from the vibrant city is noticeable, especially with the hotel being situated in San Blas, requiring uphill walks to return to the hotel. Room amenities were inconsistent. Beds were reported as too firm, with lumpy pillows, and the jacuzzi functionality was disappointing in the junior suite.

Charming hotel, good service, with a clean room with a powerful shower, made my stay comfortable, and a lovely breakfast offering freshly prepared items like made-to-order eggs and delicious homemade jams, and it's conveniently located in a peaceful area yet close to the center for easy exploration.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, far enough from the noisy party streets yet close to the center, awesome for peaceful strolls in a charming neighborhood. The bedding and towels were of high quality. Breakfast featured homemade jams and freshly prepared dishes. Options for vegans were somewhat limited. Service stood out, with staff accommodating requests, even arranging taxis promptly. A minor downside was that checkout procedures weren't clearly communicated, which led to a brief confusion.
